Dear ECS Families and Caregivers,
It is hard to believe that our school year is almost at an end! Your incredible children continue to amaze me each and every day, and I have appreciated the tremendous privilege of getting to know them and many of you this year.
I want to take this opportunity to invite you to our Field Day and Family BBQ on our last day of school, Wednesday, June 17.
Our BBQ will begin at 11:45 AM and will be served from our traditional serving window in the cafeteria. Weather permitting, everyone will then eat outside. The menu will include a hamburger or veggie burger, pasta and tossed salad, fruit, and milk. All children 18 and under (ECS students or otherwise) may eat free of charge. The cost per adult guest is $6.50, payable in cash or by check on the day. Reservations are not required, but having a rough estimate of the number of guests helps our foodservice staff prepare the meal. If you plan to attend, kindly indicate your number of guests on this form.
Families and caregivers are also welcome to participate with their child in our fun-filled field day activities, which will begin at approximately 9:00 AM. Please feel free to connect with your child when their class comes to the athletic field that morning. Field Day activities will lead right into our BBQ at 11:45 AM.
Dismissal on June 17 will be at 1:00 PM. If you plan to attend the BBQ and then take your child, please be certain to sign them out. Otherwise, bus and pickup dismissal will take place at 1:00 PM, following the typical schedule.
