Lamoille North Supervisory Union invites families, students, staff, alumni, and community members to the LNSU Welcome Back Community BBQ on Wednesday, September 9, from 4:30–7:00 p.m. at the Lamoille Union campus.
The districtwide celebration will bring together food, athletics, school pride, and community as LNSU marks the beginning of the 2026–2027 school year.
The afternoon begins at 4:30 p.m. when the Lamoille Union boys soccer team hosts Fairfax. Community members are encouraged to come out, fill the sidelines, and help the Lancers kick off the fall athletics season with a great home crowd.
Beginning around 5:15 p.m., guests can enjoy an outdoor meal prepared by the LNSU Nutrition Department.
Schools from throughout Lamoille North will also be present, giving families and community members a chance to connect with our schools and learn more about the programs, opportunities, students, and staff that make each building special.
At Lamoille North, our schools are an important part of the communities we serve. The Welcome Back Community BBQ is a chance to bring those communities together—not for a meeting or presentation, but to share a meal, celebrate our students, reconnect with neighbors, and start another school year together.
